Yesterday Clem Schmidt released QIRX V5.0.0. It\u2019s a version leap from 4.3.4 to this new 5.0.0.

Mind you<\/strong>: this new version will be installed in a new folder (default: C:\\Program Files\\softsyst\\QIRX5).
It’s recommended to uninstall the previous version of QIRX first, but make sure (just to save time after installing 5.0.0) to back-up your lay-out folder<\/a> as V5.0.0 will start from scratch.
Also have your licence key<\/strong> at hand. 5.0.0 will ask you to input it.
A new config (qirx5.config) will be created. If you want to change some (recording…) paths it’s recommended to keep a copy of the old qirx4.config at hand.
It can be found in C:\\Users\\***\\AppData\\Local\\qirx4.
You will also have to reset the receiver(s) in use and the scanning preferences or copy from this from the qirx4.config.
Don’t forget to reset your location coordinates on the map.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b0 The Settings widget has been redesigned and e.g. the ‘card decks’ setting can now be found in the Settings and no longer in the options widget DAB–>Options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
