June 23 2020 – minor update QT-DAB 4.4.1
There’s been a minor update in the config settings of QT-DAB 4.4.1.

What’s new?
In the config you can now set:
- Main Widget on top. This can cause QT to crash if you don’t move the main widget before starting a scan. No such problem when running the AppImage (Linux).
- How to start the map. Checking ‘Start browser manually’ will have you to choose a browser and type localhost:8080.
- Show transmitters of current channel will only show you the currently received transmitter next to the map when checked.

June 22 2022 – Update QT-DAB 4.4.1
A small but interesting update for Jan Van Katwijk’s QT-DAB 4.4.1.
Download the .exe or the AppImage here.
The main GUI now is always on top, but this causes a problem for Windows users as Windows creates new widgets in the centre of the screen. Drag the GUI to a position away from the middle of the screen. Starting a scan will otherwise position a newly created widget behind the GUI and causing QT to crash, especially when the scan widget asks the user whether the scan has to be saved.
What’s new?
- The selected transmitter is now show at the top of the right hand side section.
- There’s a space between each transmitter saved on the right hand side.
- For each transmitter log distance and azimuth to your QTH are logged on the right hand side.
June 21 2022 – QT-DAB 4.4.1 released
QT-DAB 4.4.1 has just been released and Jan Van Katwijk has done some major improvements!

What’s new in QT-DAB 4.4.1?
- QT-DAB is now ‘always on top’ making it easier to use the map and keeping an eye on QT decoding.
- A dot now indicates the last transmitter received. The dot changes into a clover like icon when not new any longer.
- The listing lay-out on the right hand side has been updated making it clearer and easier to read.
- All transmitters received from a particular MUX are listed on the right hand side.
- The number of transmitters received are listed.
- When clicking on a dot or a ‘clover’ data is produced below the listing including the distance to your reception location.
